Job title: Railway Asset Management Expert
Job location: Flexible nationwide
Salary: Circa £55-65k (Flexible DOE) + benefits and bonus up to £12k pa.
We are currently recruiting a railway professional with significant experience within operational asset management to work on a consultancy basis for a variety of UK based rail projects.
You will be responsible for analysing asset data, using asset data systems, management models and processes to inform and guide asset management decisions within the rail sector. This will include guiding future asset management regimes, strategies, plans and maturity measures.
Person Profile
A strong railway professional that is familiar with various railway asset management models and guiding and influencing integrated infrastructure maintenance strategies.
Essential
*Degree within any engineering field, railway operations management or relevant data or business management field.
*Knowledge of ISO 5500 / 55001
*Knowledge of asset data systems used within the rail sector e.g. Ellipse
.
Desirable
*5 + years' experience within asset management for the rail sector
*Pragmatic & analytically minded
*Excellent problem solving and communication skills
*Member of a relevant institute - e.g. IRO, IET etc
