To succeed in this role, first and foremost, you’ll need intensive knowledge of digital marketing and content creation, including desktop, mobile app, display and PPC, social media strategies and customer lifecycle programmes. You’ll have a forward thinking approach to content and be able to manage external resource in an effective and organised fashion. You’ll be managing a small, fast-paced team delivering marketing content regarding the biggest change our industry has seen in decades.
You’ll need to be a results driven professional who can focus on measurement of ROI, channel shift and revenue growth. You will manage content lifecycle for four very different brands, Gatwick Express, Southern, Thameslink and Great Northern.
Key roles and responsibilities
- Managing the ongoing content development for four brand websites to drive increased traffic, registrations and retail conversions.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, showcasing the specialist knowledge of the digital team and wider Marketing & Communications Function.
- Robustly manage content lifecycle and develop tools to support this.
- Create the content strategy, which is driven by, and aligns with, the Marketing and Communications strategy.
- Ensure that the latest digital innovations are communicated across the business and teams trained accordingly
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, showcasing the specialist knowledge of the digital team and wider Marketing & Communications Function.
- Ensuring optimisation and regular reporting of all digital channels including PPC, SEO, Display, Affiliates, eCRM, app downloads and social media.
- This role will be based at Monument Place, adjacent to Monument Tube Station and only 10 minutes’ walk from London Bridge mainline station.
