Role: Senior Drainage + Infrastructure Engineer

I am looking to fill a position for a Senior Drainage and Infrastructure Engineer within an international consultancys Manchester office. The firm employs over 70,000 people worldwide with operations covering private and public sector works in a range of disciplines. One such discipline is Civil and Structural Engineering. Due to ongoing growth, the Manchester team requires a technically-minded Drainage and Infrastructure Engineer to join them. In Manchester and surrounding areas, the firm are currently completing a 20-storey private accommodation tower, Premier League football stadium inspections/upgrades, new-build luxury hotels, large-scale office refurbishment work, and more.
Ideally, you will have experience of WinDes / MicroDrainage, previous experience authoring Flood Risk Assessments, knowledge of Section Agreements 106, 38 and 278, as well as being near, or recently, Chartered with the Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE). It is not necessary for candidates to have expert user-level knowledge of Civil 3D, though any knowledge would be an added bonus. You will also have experience working between a range of internal and external stakeholders, including public-sector bodies and for private clients.
This position will be a good opportunity for someone with the right skills to join a large team where they can grow and continue to develop their skills. The firm tends to operate on larger projects, and you will take part in the development of large scale schemes.
The role will give the candidate the opportunity to take part in a range of exciting projects and work alongside a multidisciplinary team of other engineers and technicians. Applicants will be proactive and able to work well as part of a focused and driven team who strive for excellence and commit to positive, sustainable change within local communities whilst maintaining an awareness of project costs and who can self-manage when required.
Candidates with the right skills and experience will have access to a wide range of benefits and an industry competitive salary. Benefits include a share ownership scheme, child care vouchers, life assurance, holiday buy and many more designed to suit your own personal lifestyle.
