Senior Estimator Role

My client is currently looking for a senior estimator that has a strong Rail M&E, Signalling background that is keen to come in and make the role theirs. This would initially be supporting the sales and BD teams when tendering as they will need to price jobs.

This opportunity also offers the chance to become part of the management team.

This is for an expanding company that is looking to grow and have a strong pipeline of work.

This role will be based in the South East of England with maybe 1 day in Wales every couple of weeks.

Essential Needs

• Must come from a M&E or E&P projects background
• Must be able to lead a team
• Work with different parts of the business
• Be able to structure and develop processes
• Knowledge of pricing
• Must be flexible
• Must be cross functional
• Must not be timid and have strong communicational skills

My client would prefer someone that has come from a Quantity Surveyors background but this is not essential. The person should be strong willed and have an agile ability to work – every project will be different.
