Senior/Principal Civil/Drainage Engineer

We are currently dealing with a well-respected multidisciplinary consultancy who are searching for a Senior or Principal Civil Engineer to join their team in Kent or London. Drainage Engineers, and individuals above a Principal level will also be considered. Technical Design Managers would also be considered.

In the role, you will be responsible for leading a range of multidisciplinary projects of varying scales from £10k to in excess of £3bn. You will lead the design of various infrastructure projects, including residential, commercial, education and industrial sectors underground drainage and roads to adoptable standards are also included. Having working knowledge of Civils 3D, PDS, MicroDrainage and AutoCAD will be highly beneficial to the successful candidate.

In a management position of Senior or Principal Engineer, you will also be expected to liaise with statutory bodies, such as Southern Water, the Environment Agency and County Roads Departments. Furthermore, you will also be responsible for the delivery of high-quality designs and technical outputs, and ensure that junior Engineers and Technicians are developed to maintain high quality production.

This would be a great opportunity for someone who would be looking to progress to an Associate status.

Job Description:

-          Experience with Sewers for Adoption, SUDS, report and assessment preparations
-          Previous experience in Infrastructure Highway or Drainage Design
-          Attend design, site, and stakeholder meetings to ensure deliverables and outputs are in adherence with budgets and deadlines
-          Liaise and mentor team members
-          Have experience with Civils3D or MicroDrainage
-          Be confident with liaising with statutory bodies, such as Southern Water, Environment Agency and County Roads Department
