Job Field Assurance Engineer (Mechanical)

A major railway project is seeking an experienced Field Assurance Engineer (Mechanical) sto assist the Lead Field Assurance Engineer in the closeout of punch works plus other Q&A and TCP documentation in readiness for the T&C systems integration phase testing and completion of their associated assurance documentation in readiness for the handover

This would be a great opportunity for an experienced M&E Resident Engineer or a Senior Project Engineer with a proven track record and working experience on high end projects, with in the rail or LU industry.

Main challenges of the job
Working with London Underground and Rail for London to ensure that Crossrail s Element Outstanding Works List open items and outstanding findings from the verification activities are satisfactory closed out with evidence for their acceptance of the final close out.
Working across the Stations, Shafts, Portals, Rail Systems and Central Engineering Group Teams to obtain evidenced from Crossrail s design and build Contractors and Technical Directorate teams.
Maintain a consistent approach, where possible, in acceptance of technical assurance and resolution of items across the various project teams

To be considered for this role you must have the following
Degree qualified engineer or equivalent experience
Site based experience of engineering and construction on major infrastructure projects, including experience of design, construction and testing & commissioning phases
Knowledge and experience of construction quality systems and processes
