ATA are currently working with multiple Rolling Stock clients across the UK, this one is well known for their engineering operations across the UK and worldwide.

The Candidate:

You have certainly come to the right place if you are looking for your next long-term contract! Our client requires a highly experienced Mechanical Fitter who can perform heavy overhauls on a fleet of trains which are due to be released in to public service after their refresh.

The Role:

You will be entrusted to carry out overhauls of a fleet of trains on the mechanical components before installing components to our client’s high standards with your work being approved by the public once in service.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role you will be from a Mechanical Fitter background ideally from Rolling Stock, Aerospace, Aviation, Forces, Navy, Army or a similar engineering role. Hold a Level 3 NVQ / C&G or full Apprenticeship certificate in engineering and must be able to attend a medical and can commence work immediately or within a week’s notice.

Rate of Pay: £17 per hour, 40 hours per week with over time available at managements discretion.
