BASED ON SITE IN QATAR
SINGLE STATUS
10 HOURS A DAY - 6 DAYS A WEEK.


Organize the work tasks of Communication Installation in a competent and consistent way so that all key activities are properly controlled. Ensuring the Communication installation complies with the documents and that quality requirement and deadlines are met.
Assist on Signaling /TLC equipment installation ( CCTV parts , Traffic Light Interface ).
Installation of Telecom equipments such as Speakers, Closed-Circuit Television, Telephones, Ambient Noise Sensors and PIDS in tram stations/stops and depot area.
Audio and Data cable Termination, Splicing and Cable pulling.
Prepares planning, scheduling and look ahead plan including daily manpower work tasks loading, coordinates with other department/ contractors and attends regular progress.
Responsible for delivery of Telecom equipments to site. Planning and Requisition of Resources and Material.
Perform pre-check documentation before installation, Coordination with the Engineering team to ensure proper installation and interfacing with other parties.
Supervision of equipment installation, post-check documentation after installation.
Coordinate and Carry out Telecom Installations works at site through project specified permit to work and quality system.
Provides timely reports, progress picture reports, event report maybe deficiencies, hindrance notification, delays, damage report or other related reports as requested with organized documentation controls through software records and regular progress updates.
Performs and reviews various controls, MS, ITP, schematic drawings, layouts, line diagrams ie. MEP/ SLD and other related documentations with regular site monitoring.
Identifies problems or issues at site and prepares relevant actions thru communications, reports and performs immediate actions or solutions when needed at site with less supervision.
Schedule, support and partially lead of client inspections.
Inputs for As Built Drawings.
Coordination and support to Site Acceptance Test activities.
Conducts mandatory safety toolbox & training to workers, assisting in implementation & adherence to HSE regulations and quality management at all times.
Testing of optical fiber, Cat6a and other data cables using Optical-Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR) and Fluke measuring tool.
Support to Signalling and overhead catenary systems (OCS) installations teams.
Wide previous- knowledge in Telecom Installation and methodologies.
Strong supervisory skills with applied HSE practices performing regular checks on the installation team to ensure safe work practices are performed.
Microsoft office applications for reporting and documentations.
Technological knowledge in Testing of Optical fiber and other data cables by using OTDR.
Experience in SCADA and Industrial Automation with Computer-aided design background.
Able to coach electricians and explain good work practices using the correct tools for the correct task ( installation of cable supports , apparatus , wiring , ELV devices ).
Strong installation and understanding skills in electrical and civil discipline.
Experienced in handling quality and inspection management including testing.
Efficient scheduling, look ahead planning, tasking and other generated reports.
Ability to coordinate and multi-task in demanding engineering or tight situations.
Knowledge of warehouse, storage of material, material delivery control and work preparation.
Ensuring material stock levels are maintained during deployments.
Proven skills for installation of telecommunication and SCADA equipments, cable laying , testing and termination.
Procurement and installation of containments for power and data cables.
You need to enjoy mathematical and technical activities, be practical and have good hand-eye coordination, good eyesight and normal colour vision. You need excellent diagnostic ability, an aptitude for mechanics and electronics, able to do precise and detailed work, and have good communication skills including literacy skills. You must have a strong regard for safety.
Min.8 years of verifiable supervising experience as communication Foreman/supervisor. Preferably diploma in any stream.
with 3 years of experience in railway site installation.
Excellent English communication skills. Must have a valid local driver's license.
