Data Entry Clerk in London, London, United Kingdom
We are looking for a Data Entry Clerk to type information into a database or spreadsheet from paper documents/tables/schedules/plans. The ideal candidate will be computer savvy and a be able to type quickly with a keen eye for detail. Maintaining a high level of output (numbers of records copied) is key due to tight timescales. The role will report to a data manager or another senior data team member. The candidate is expected to have an understanding of data confidentiality.
The main requirements are:
* The ability to transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems
* The ability to create spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes
* An ability to work to deadlines
* An ability to work fast (but without mistakes)
* Good attention to detail
* Good time keeping
* Ability to work with little management or oversight
* Be able to learn new concepts quickly
