Deputy PD Rail Systems: Navi Metro, India

My client is a leading railway engineering company who are looking for a Deputy Project Director for railway electrical systems scope their Navi Metro Project, in Belapur, India. This role is to support and lead a team about LB professional for Indore Metro Project, which comprises of Systems, Rolling Stock, Signaling, Communication, Power Supply Traction and Automatic Fare Collection etc .. and other administrative support staff, responsible for overall Systems function of the project both technical & commercial aspects. Provide technical and commercial guidance to the client, evaluate overall performance of the project, provide feedback to the client on with respect to systems / systems integration aspect of the project in a time bound fashion, managing & evaluating the performance of the Contractors and provide feedback to the client.

This role pays a total monthly salary 7,000 USD + accommodation + health insurance.

Responsibilities
Overall responsibility of railways systems scope of works on the project.
Ensure that all projects are delivered ontime, within scope and within budget.
Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring the success of the project.
Develop / modify a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques with respect to systems.
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors / contactors for the flawless execution of project.
Ensure resource availability and allocation on a timely fashion.
Report and escalate to management as needed.
Manage the relationship with the client and all internal and external stakeholders.
Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors/ contractors.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project.
Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and longterm goals.
Develop / modify comprehensive project ( systems) plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements to apply
Masters Degree in Electrical or Communications Engineering or equivalent from a UGC recognized Institute, University.
Minimum 25 years' of progressive experience in Civil Infra.
At least 10 years' experience within an international organization / OEM ( Signaling, Rolling stock, Telecom), managing Metro Rail project in same or equivalent role.
Experience working with the Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word, Lync and Outlook, MS Project is desirable.
Experience of working in a multicultural environment.
