Electrification Supervisor

Location: Tonbridge
Purpose of the Role
To undertake all aspects of E&P installation/testing activities, scope the works, order the correct materials and lead installation/testing teams undertaking the works.
Key Areas of Responsibility & Accountability
- Adhere to safety critical work regulations
- Comply with quality, safety and environmental policies, procedures and regulations
- Take responsibility for all staff under your control including sub-contract staff
- Ensure Rack-outs, HV Assessments & Switch-outs are booked in a timely fashion.
- Organise, undertake and manage all aspects of Conrail/E&P work including any enabling works required for the removal/installation of E&P assets
- Review site walk information, review disconnection details ensuring adjacent Assets are considered (i.e. Points Heating)
- Carry out continuity break information, ensure information is shared with Possession and Isolation planners prior to deadlines
- B2 checks to be carried out for sites with Rack-outs
- Review design drawings, validate information on site and feedback any comments affecting installation/compliance related to Plain line & Conductor rail renewals
- Undertake site visits and action any outcomes
- Maintain records of work undertaken
- Attend PDR, DCI & IDC meetings related to All Plain Line & Conductor rail works.
- Review Inspection and Test Plans, Section Proving Documents produced by the Engineering team
- Document any risk assessments required and brief staff
- Produce As-built information and Documents required for Handback, Works to be completed in TOC/FC timescales
- Attend and lead team/Technical briefs
- As you will expect the organisation may change from time to time and you will be expected to meet the operational requirements.
- Any other reasonable duties as required from time to time.
Person Specification
The job holder will have proven experience in leading delivery teams and managing E&P works.
- Experienced E&P project delivery
- Comprehensive understanding of Conductor rail works/standards
- Comprehensive understanding of Electrical standards and permanent way renewal techniques including interfaces between disciplines
- Good Level of IT skills
- Good Communication skills
- Team/Labour Management
