Rates - £571.18 - £659.05 per day

About the role/project:
To deliver technical architectures able to accommodate the current and future needs of the business, taking input from the Enterprise Architects - Business. To rationalise potential overlaps and dependencies into coherent programmes of work to deliver common business services.
What you will do:
- Datacentre migration - define the security components of the DCs in the new location, define work packages for this etc. (this will include an ESG)
- Identity and access management - The reference architectures and roadmaps are there but specifics related to the envisaged Azure-based infrastructure need to be added and the implementation will need to be kept on track
- Security design authority - lead DA on projects involving a significant security component and provide input into most other projects. This is an ongoing, daily activity and involves close cooperation with the security and infrastructure teams
- Cloud security - we're moving towards a hybrid architecture and the security components of this need to be defined
- Digital business platform - the security components of this are largely there, however the other elements (IoT, APIs, etc.) are in their beginning stages and might involve a security part.
Your experience will include:
Essential
- Extensive experience of managing data and/or information architectural development at an enterprise level
- Substantial experience of systems analysis and requirements specification
- Substantial experience working at the business and IS Strategy level
- Knowledge of enterprise integration concepts and technologies e.g. EAI, Web Services
- Knowledge of web concepts and technologies (including Internet, Intranet, Extranet, Portals, EJB, Web Servers, Application CASE/Modelling tools (ideally, Systems Architect)
- Knowledge and understanding of Hardware and Network Infrastructure concepts and technologies
