One of UK's largest construction companies is urgently looking for an experienced Estimator to work on a large scale project based in Warrington. This role will be offered on a contract basis of at least 6 months.
The Estimator will be required to support the scheme development and delivery in conjunction with the Design, Asset management and Commercial Teams as well as the Portfolio managers to provide budget estimates for the proposed schemes. The Estimator will need to be flexible and be able to pick up on Final accounts and star rate agreement with client.

Principle Accountabilities:
- Contract requirements related to Schemes are complied with in full.
- Financial reporting related to Schemes is produced to the required standard and to the timetable as set from time to time.
- Liaison within the team, with other teams and the supply chain.
- Assist with the calculation of Star rates.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills:
- Relevant construction or business degree or equivalent.
- Has attained or is planning to attain a relevant post-degree qualification.
- Full driving licence.
- Computer-literate.
- Experience of civil engineering construction
- Experience in a term maintenance environment, particularly in the highways sector.
- Will need to visit depots, construction sites and other offices from time-to-time.
