TXM Recruit are working in partnership with a leading manufacturing business based in Derby that are currently seeking to recruit a team of Junior Procurement Officers on a 6 month contract to support with material and component purchasing. You will need to be a self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills coupled with a love a delivering a positive problem solving service. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a well known business which could allow access to other exciting opportunities within the business.

The Opportunity:

• To work with your aligned suppliers, total of 6, in order to review the current processes of the supply department.
• Work closely with the companies internal staff and suppliers to understand the current issues and hold up with supply chain in regards to materials and components
• May be some travel required to key suppliers that are UK based, this will be fully expensed, in order to build strong relationships to resolve any issues that have occurred.
• Have a positive attitude towards problem solving in order to rectify all current issues within the supply chain.

The ideal candidate will be:

• Have previous experience of working with suppliers
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to quickly resolve problems with a positive out come for all parties involved
• Must have experience of using SAP
• Self starter with an up and go attitude
