Are you an operations specialist in the rail industry? Do you want to be the head of operations for an expanding network?

Ford and Stanley are looking to recruit an experienced operations manager capable of sitting on the senior management team and ensure that the company can deliver on its expanding operational requirements.

As the Head of Operations you will be responsible for directing and leading all aspects of the operations of the network to ensure the delivery of a safe and punctual service while maintaining a high level of customer care You will be responsible for managing the network management centre which includes the controllers and their management.

You will also lead the changes in the operations area defined by the business plan and the company strategy. The network is expanding and you are required to make sure that emerging operational and safety risks are proactively identified and measures developed to address those issues.

The successful candidate will be knowledgeable and experienced in understanding of railway operations (light/heavy rail). Preferably educated to degree standard in a relevant discipline to the rail or transport industry or holding an appropriate/advanced or professional qualification in management or business studies You must have a Minimum of 4 years’ experience within a senior management role. Managerial responsibilities will include strategic leadership and have a proven track record of delivery
