Job Title: Internal Auditor

Loaction: Gravesend-Kent

Rate: £300-350/day

Duration: 4 months possible extension

Short Description:

An IRCA (International Register of Certified Auditors) registered auditor required to carry out RM3 (Risk Maturity Model 3) internal audits of the business.
This will require the auditor to implement an audit programme as developed by the business. It is expected that the individual selected will have demonstrable experience of carrying out this type of internal audit within the railway environment.

What you will do:
The selected person will be required to create supporting audit reports with effective root cause analysis, suitable for presentation and review by senior management. The person will be required to oversee the implementation or recommendations.
The selected person should have demonstrable skills in communicating with all levels of a business as the audit programme will cover all levels of the business management.
This post will require travelling.

Your experience will include:

Essential
• Knowledge of railway operations and/or maintenance management, processes and techniques.
• Knowledge of the Health and Safety Management System and relevant legislation.
• Lead Auditor qualified (IATCA / IRCA).
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
• Good interpersonal, influencing, communication and organisation skills.
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills.

Desirable
• Good understanding of the railway industry.
• Associated membership of a professional institute.
• NEBOSH Certificate.
