NICEIC Qualified Supervisor : Rail (LU)

JLX are working on a high-profile project within London Underground.

We have a requirement for a NICEC Qualified Supervisor working day shift predominantly based in our Essex Office 3 days a week with remote working 2 days.

This is a permanent position and will suit an up and coming NICEIC manager who wants to further their career with a rapidly expanding company.

Roles (Brief Outline):

• Streamline existing NICEIC Procedures
• Monitor installation works for assurance and adherence to BS7671and CAT1 Standards
• Ensure and direct complete adherence to NICEIC Rules.
• Liaise directly with Project Managers to ensure quality/assurance and correct certification.
• Support Operations manager to ensure the smooth running of all company operations.
• Carry out site inspections of installation works (nights)
• Report directly to MD

Requirements:

• Previous NICEIC QS role or similar (National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting)
• Minimum 3 Years proven experience in a similar role.
• Understand the Electricity at Work Regulations, current edition of BS 7671, and the Codes of Practice and guidance documents.
• Understand the inspection, testing, verification, certification and reporting procedures.
• Preferred to have proven London Underground experience
• Contract outside IR35.
• Rate -negotiable
