A well-known main contractor who is heavily engaged in a series of high profile Track renewal and installation programmes are in need of an experienced P-Way Supervisor for fundamental project requirement based in areas throughout Northamptonshire.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the P-Way Project Manager and Delivery Manager, you the P-Way Supervisor will be accountable for assisting in the requirements and forward planning mid-week and out on site controlling and supervising all planned P-Way delivery works
• The appointed P-Way Supervisor will need to ultimately ensure that planned work is carried out in a safe and timely fashion and to client specification and expectations
• You will have a strong working knowledge of Track renewal, installation and related Rail Civils development processes and will have a good working understanding of P-Way installation, development / construction objectives, including delivery methods and procedures.
• You the appointed P-Way Supervisor you will have a strong working appreciation of Tamping, Stressing and Track Handback
• As the P-Way Supervisor will be ensure that site records are maintained and kept up to date, Work Package Plans for compiled and task briefs issued.
• Being the P-Way Supervisor you will be able to adequately assess and best utilise the strengths of a team and monitor progress against programme
• You will be a supportive, hands-on lead/mentor who will be able to gain respect for a team

Requirements:

The needed P-Way Supervisor will have previous experience working in a similar role, requirements planning within the mainline sector and will possess the right knowledge, abilities and experience to deliver sometimes time critical Track / P-Way requirements for Plain Line and S&C.

You will be effective in controlling a workforce and ensuring time delivery of renewals requirements to allocated deadlines.

To be considered for this role the P-Way Supervisor will possess or have good working knowledge / appreciation of the following;

• P-Way and P-Way related Rail Civils requirements planning experience
• Extensive Plain Line and S&C installation familiarity
• Working appreciation of Tamping, Stressing and Track Handback
• Team leading and site Supervision skills
• Heath, Safety and Qualify aware
• Totally delivery focused
• PTS as standard, SSSTS or SMSTS as a nice to have
