Pullman Rail aims to be the supplier of choice for heavy maintenance within the UK Rail Industry.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and paint rolling stock on site.
• Prepare, including masking, and apply paint to a range of fabricated metal products to a high standard.
• Carry out basic quality control checks.
• Ensure the safe operation of machinery within the area of responsibility.
• Use measuring equipment for mixing foundation coat materials.
• Read, understand and interpret written instructions, documentation, specifications.
• Work under strict time allocation.
• Ensure accurate records are completed and maintained in accordance with procedures in place.
• Demonstrate occupational competence in accepting and returning responsibility for the control of traction and rolling stock assets.
• Maintain good housekeeping in work area.

General

• Participate in team and one-to-one meetings and undertake, as appropriate, courses, training, other developmental activities, relevant to the role.
• Keep up to date with developments within the Company and other sector-wide practices, that influence the day-to-day activities within the role, ensuring compliance with relevant
• Legislation and any other relevant internal, external factors e.g. Company policies and procedures, quality management standards, Health and Safety.
• Promote the organisation by whatever means are appropriate and available to ensure a positive image to customers, clients.
• Ensure, in the course of employment, complete confidentiality is maintained in respect of
• the Company, its dealings, transactions, and all other information relating to clients or customers, staff etc.
• Demonstrate commitment to the aims and objectives of the Company and the implementation of its Equal Opportunities policy in the workplace.

You will take part in a performance review, which will incorporate a review of the above duties and performance over the period.
