Parts Specialist in Stockport, Greater Manchester, United Kingdom
I'm representing a client with a fantastic opportunity for two parts specialists to join their professional yet fun and friendly team in their Stockport dealership.
You will be representing a luxury International car brand who have over 45 years' experience in providing the highest possible level of prestige customer service, with over 143 dealerships in countries such as China, Australia, South Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam, Cambodia, and most recently in Germany and the United Kingdom.
Summary of the role
* Ordering and purchasing automotive parts for a luxury automotive European brand.
* Maintaining a parts inventory and important records. Duties involve working with a team of mechanics and shop foremen. Work is performed under supervision of the Parts manager, giving opportunity for fantastic progression.
* 45 hours a week with possibility for overtime.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Monitor all stock orders to suppliers to ensure order documentation is correct and orders are in line with recommended stock requirements.
* Ensure that all documentation of incoming parts are correctly entered into stock records and reconcile with actual stocks delivered.
* Ensure all deliveries are placed into stock ensuring any sold or V.O.R. parts are dispatched to the appropriate customer/department.
* Assist in regular stock checks and annual stock audits.
* Ensure all customer invoices are raised in line with customer orders and are made up of/forwarded promptly, resolving any invoice/order queries, which may arise.
* Maintain parts merchandising display ensuring promotions are highlighted.
* Arrange for parts stock returns, ensuring appropriate credit documentation is raised and actioned, and that stock records are amended.
Education and Experience
* Take pride in their ability to maximize success of the department whilst simultaneously delivering exceptional levels of professionalism and customer satisfaction.
* Be focused on achieving goals; possess excellent interpersonal skills and be recognized as a self-motivated team player and target achiever.
* Minimum of 2 years' experience, with successful track record at a prestige brand.
* Hold a valid UK driving license.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
* Considerable knowledge of automotive parts identification.
* Ability to handle petty cash.
* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and vendors.
* Skill in maintaining inventory of parts.
