We are currently looking for a Personal Assistant (PA) for a major engineering company in Derby to support their Regional Director who manages Wales and England regions. The said company works on Rail projects, and the job holder will provide support to the Senior Manager Team and Project/Regional Director on the Midland Mainline. This is a very hands on roles and you will need to have a demonstrable experience working within a Personal Assistant. Typical job duties as the PA can include, but not limited too:

• Arranging meeting rooms
• Maintaining an inspection log & sending out reminders
• Ensuring Management on call rota is up to date on a weekly basis and email out
• Co-ordinate and prepare agendas, papers and documentation for executive meetings and assist with any follow-up action as necessary.
• Building of close working relationships within the teams to be able to develop the interaction between departments and gain information required to deliver the necessary data to the Project/Regional Director.
• Experience with diary management, minute taking, and report writing.
• Providing secretarial support across multi-disciplinary teams.

 
Job Requirements

• Would be beneficial, but not essential, to have an understanding of the rail industry and relevant terminology.
• An excellent level of IT competency specifically Microsoft Excel and Office and Visio.
• Good attention to detail.
• An organised and methodical approach to tasks.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Previous experience as a high-level PA
