Job Title - Principal Programme Planner
Location - The Quadrant: Milton Keynes
Rates - Up to £395.43 Umbrella/Ltd or £347.39 PAYE day rate | IN SCOPE OF IR35
About the role:
As the Principal Programme Planner you will lead the planning function within national programme team whilst providing guidance and direction to other planners.
You will generate national input to Investment plan as part of Business Planning process and acts as principle communication point between Business Planning function and national programme team.
What you will do:
- Provide leadership and direction to planners in national and Territory teams.
- Monitor so that planning activity within programme is undertaken to acceptable quality standards and consistent with national standards.
- Manage so that all plans are integrated into Territory and national plans.
- Review resource availability to support plans and act to address resource shortfalls and risks to delivery.
- Lead the compilation of cost and resource forecast data in support of the business plan.
Your experience will include:
- Expectational planning capabilities and experience.
- You will hold a membership of a relevant professional body and/or educated to degree level.
- Have relevant successful experience in the management, planning and delivery of major construction and engineering projects.
- Excellent communication skills.
