Samuel Knight Rail are pleased to be recruiting for our client, who are seeking a number of contract & permanent employees to join their Freight depot operations team.

We are initially seeking Rail operatives or "Shunters" who have experience guiding the trains in and out of the depot, preparing freight trains, checking brake systems and coupling wagons. These roles would fit candidates who have recent experience of similar positions in other Freight depots, and also any candidate who has worked on the Crossrail project doing similar.

The key requirements of our client are;

• Shunter or Shunting experience (freight locomotives)
• Traffic Marshalling experience (freight locomotives)
• Train Preperation (freight locomotives)
• Coupling wagons (freight rolling stock)
• Mobile Operative experience
• PTS (Samuel Knight can provide this course for you)
