Samuel Knight Rail are currently managing a recruitment campaign for a prestigious, high profile, client who’s project begins in October and will run through until mid-2018. The positions we are recruiting for are critical to the success of the work.

In return for your commitment to this work, and in recognition of your previous experience, our client are offering excellent rates of pay & shift allowances. We are seeking a variety of different positions to assist in this major Rail depot works to help our client.

Amongst other positions, we are currently hiring for;

Rail Operative (Depot Environment)

Experience:

• Previous experience working for a Rail operating company in a Depot environment
• Previous experience of manual labor in a Rail operating company environment - heavy freight environment
• It is essential you have experience in a Rail depot role previously with a Freight (essential) locomotive service
• Liaising with signallers, marshalls, operatives, shunters, project managers etc.

Person specification:

• Flexible in nature of work
• Committed and Reliable
• Holding a Sentinel PTS registration (Renewals & DNA’s can be managed by Samuel Knight)
• Keen to take advantage of overtime opportunities
• Available to start at the end of September or beginning of October (no later than W/C 02/10)
