This means a near enough guaranteed pipeline of varied, exciting and challenging rail projects for you to price and win for our client who is one of Australia's leading multisector Contractors.

The role

As a Rail Systems and Signalling specialist you will bring dedicated expertise into a well-established and mature Estimating team, led by a General Manager.

The vision is for you to support and lead their estimating and pricing activity within the Rail systems market and, in time, grow and lead a specialist team.

You will be pricing major $multi-million rail projects as a Principle Contractor or as part of a JV across Australasia and, on occasion, South East Asia.

What our client is looking for

-An individual with a strong Engineering pedigree, gained working for a Contractor in the construction phase of Rail sector projects
-Knowledge of rail systems and signalling, essential
-A degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
-Existing experience in working as an Estimator, or a strong desire to move into estimating
-Ideally experienced in larger projects, $250m+ (although not essential)
-Leadership qualities
-Experience in estimating software CANDY or Expert Estimator
