Award winning engineering consultancy seeks to retain the services of a senior or executive level rail professional with a background in the rail infrastructure (signalling, track, telecoms etc) industry to support them with a four year growth plan. This is a full time or part time contract opportunity based in either Surrey, Bristol, Hampshire, Midlands or North West and would suit candidates at Engineering Director, Technical Director or Chief Engineer level.

Having won innovation awards in the rail industry for the past 3 years, this leading consultancy is now looking to increase their presence in the rail industry and are heavily investing in a 4 year growth plan. The plan has the full backing and attention of their board but seek a senior/executive figure who is well connected and respected in the market to help them achieve their targets.
This is a really exciting opportunity to support this company with the expansion of their rail division through work winning and possibly leading the delivery of projects. Projects will be varied and challenging being delivered at fleet, network, region and system level and you will be able to apply your knowledge of any technical issues that you foresee.

Other duties will include:

• Develop the services we offer,
• Build customer relationships
• Describe our technical offering in this area to clients
• Provide technical advice and consultancy services to a wide variety of proposals and projects
• Technically lead proposals and projects
• Mentor more junior staff
