We are looking for an experienced Solutions Architect with an understanding of the end-to-end data migration to design the technical ETL and build specifications for migration

Project R is primarily a data migration exercise, migrating data from legacy system to an upgraded infrastructure with the following improvements

Cleanse & Tidy legacy data from redundancies

Standardise file structure (New folders/subfolders)

Implement security requirements (Permissions)

Create/design archiving policies & SLA’s for business access

The Migration includes a number of regional offices and would require travel to each office.

The primary role is to analyse the legacy system for migration and develop migration specifications for new file system taking into account business requirements and Siemens security governance.

The role requires the following Essential Experience: -

Experienced in full life cycle of data migration projects from analysis to supporting UAT design

Microsoft Operating Systems ( <phone number removed> ) ideally MCSE & MCSA

Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP etc.

Experience of MS17-010 and SMBV1 Exploit

Networking - WAN, LAN, Security, SSL, IP Routing, Switching

Anti-Virus platforms

Backup & Archiving solutions
