Your New Organisation

You will have a fantastic opportunity to work in the machine shop and production department of a large organisation covering several mechanical dis-assembly, reassembly and rebuilding tasks.

Your New Opportunity

You will have the opportunity to use your skills and ability of rebuilding compressors, water pumps and several other skills in the production of Cummins and MTU Diesel Engine sub-assemblies

You will be responsible for assembling and disassembling diesel engine components, as part of a team or on your own initiative

Person

You must have experience in a similar role and have a recognised Mechanical engineering apprenticeship or equivalent NVQ level 3

You must have experience in the rail or automotive industry

You will have the ability to work in a changing environment and must be able to work to deadlines and short lead times.

You must be willing to take on any other reasonable responsibilities or tasks that are within the employee's skills and abilities.

You must also be able to demonstrate the ability to use a variety of calibrated measuring equipment and the skills in using mechanical tools.

You will have good awareness and understand the importance of working in a safe environment.

This vacancy is an immediate requirement and immediate start is available for the right candidate - please note this role is to be paid weekly through limited company or an umbrella company.
