This is an opportunity to join a major global engineering company as part of their team responsible for the delivery of a high profile railway construction project in Saudi Arabia. They are looking for a Testing & Commissioning Engineer with experience of working with High Speed Trains.

Responsibilities of this role include;

Identifying all tests to be carried out to fulfill performance requirements and functional operation

Defining fundamental criteria and requirements for tests
Providing procedures for reporting all tests
Monitoring tests from acceptance to commissioning

Ensuring acceptance and approval
Supervising all testing of equipment, systems and sections at different times and stages

Ensuring interfaces between different systems are integrated
Checking all installed systems are suitable for operation
Making improvements to and offering advice about operational procedures
Scheduling and coordinating of work within tight deadlines timeframe
Investigating problems, diagnosing/repairing faults, troubleshooting
Liaising with installation/project engineers
Writing reports and documentation
Ensuring project success regarding to content, costs, quality and time
Supporting commissioning of rolling stock
Consideration of operational requirements in commissioning stages
Ensuring project success regarding to content, costs, quality and time
Monitoring tests from acceptance to commissioning
Making improvements to and offering advice about operational procedures
Scheduling and coordinating work to tight deadlines
Ensuring that equipment and train-sets operate according to its specification
Investigating problems, diagnosing/repairing faults, troubleshooting
Liaising with installation/project engineers
Supervising engineering and technical staff
Writing reports and documentation
Providing technical support
Ensuring safe working conditions

To be considered for this role you must be able to meet the below requirements

University degree (B. Sc. or M.Sc.) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

At least 10 years' professional experiences in Rolling Stock, preferable in extraordinary environmental conditions

Knowledge of international urban and long distance rolling stock

International working experience required

Excellent English skills

Relevant IT-Skills

International driving license is compulsory

Willingness to re-locate to Saudi-Arabia for at least two years
