1. Purpose of the Job
To develop processes and procedures that will underpin the RFLI Asset Management and Engineering functions in readiness for it to become an effective Infrastructure Manager. Reporting to the Engineering Mobilisation Manager the role is to develop processes and procedures that have already been identified for the Asset Management and Engineering functions to fulfil its obligations.
2. Principal Accountabilities
* Develop processes and procedures as assigned by the Engineering Mobilisation Manager. This will be achieved by making use of suitable procedures that exist in other organisations and amending them to fit the required RFLI function.
* Identify all stakeholders who will interface with, or are impacted by, the developing process and procedure and take due cognisance of their requirements.
* Ensure that effective document review and publishing protocols are followed during development and issue.
* Ensure that processes and procedures are kept as simple as possible whilst fulfilling the requirement for them.
* Take reasonable care of your own and others' health and safety and of those who may be affected in the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working to the Crossrail Target Zero principles.
* Co-operate with Crossrail in all matters relating to health and safety, including following safe working procedures at all times
* Act as a role model for Crossrail's vision and values, behaving in ways that are in alignment with Crossrail's Ways of Working. Encourage and support others to do so too
* Promote equality in the workplace and adopt appropriate behaviour when interacting with colleagues

5. Person Specification
* Experience of producing high quality technical control processes
* Experience and exposure to a railway environment
* Effective stakeholder engagement.
* High level of competence in relevant computer packages to enable successful production of processes and procedures
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) at all levels
* Effective team player
* Strong delivery ethic, with a commitment for successful delivery to schedule
