Responsibilities:
Ensure all Signalling Systems and Equipment that is worked on is installed and tested in accordance with LU Cat 1 & 2 standards and the relevant maintenance handbooks. To also ensure all Signalling Systems and Equipment that has been worked on is handed back prior to the commencement of train services and confirming safe passage of the first 2 trains through the section upon completion of the testing.
Main Tasks:
Support the installation and/or the maintenance phases of work being carried out by other asset areas to which the Signalling Systems and Signalling Equipment are directly connected.
Qualifications and/or skills required:
Hold a valid IRSE License in one or more of the following license categories:

IRSE License 1.4.160 Signal Maintenance Tester

IRSE License 1.3.170 Function Tester

IRSE License 1.4.230 Maintainer & Fault Finder

Equipment competencies required:
Only Signalling Systems and Equipment that an individual has been formally trained and certified in and then independently accessed in.
Driving License: Hold a full British license or willing to work to obtain
