A once in a lifetime opportunity for a Senior Engineer or Sub Agent looking to progress their career down a more technical route, whilst joining a leading highways contractor as they make a start on a flagship motorways scheme in Northampton!
THE COMPANY
Our client is a leading construction contractor, with a compelling reputation for successfully delivering building and infrastructure works across the UK with a turnover of over £2.5 billion. They boast a heavy presence within construction operating across both the public and private sector, and with their successes have managed to increase their pipeline within infrastructure.
This is an exciting time to join this company as they make a start on their every-growing highways order book and are looking for a Temporary Works Co-Ordinator to join the team, to work on a multi-million-pound motorway scheme in the Northamptonshire area!
THE ROLE
This role will see you utilising your site-based knowledge in a more design focussed environment, as you will be solely responsible for all the temporary works on the project. This will include anything and everything from scaffolding, cranes, excavation support and much more, whilst supporting the delivery of a major highways build scheme.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a budding Senior Engineer or Sub Agent to advance their technical capabilities whilst learning with one of the industry’s leading civil engineering contractors – question is, are you up for the challenge?
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
So, I bet you’re wondering if you’re the Temporary Works Co-Ordinator I’m looking for? From an experience perspective, you will need to have experience working on heavy civil engineering projects in any sector – highways would be a bonus however what my client are looking for is someone who is passionate about Temporary Works, rather than relevant project experience.
Culture fit is just as important for my client as they look to continue to dominate the highways sector in the Midlands. They need people in the team who are dedicated to the project – and the company – and motivated by career development, so if you’re an Engineer or Sub Agent looking to stay at this level, this isn’t the opportunity for you.
REQUIREMENTS
To be the Temporary Works Co-Ordinator I’m looking for, you’ll need a minimum of HNC in Civil Engineering as well as a TWC ticket/qualification and experience of temporary works on site.
PACKAGE
My client is offering the grade-A candidate a basic salary up to £45k, plus a generous package including car or car allowance, pension, 28 days’ holiday (+ bank) and much more!
