Temporary Works Co-Ordinator in London, London, Greater London, England, United Kingdom

Temporary Works Co-Ordinator

London

Are you a Senior Engineer or Sub Agent with the desire to move down a more technical route for your career? This leading rail contractor may just have the opportunity you've been looking for!

THE COMPANY

Our client is one of the leading engineering and construction companies in the UK and provide specialist building, civil engineering and rail expertise to a range of markets. They deliver successful projects in a wide range of industries, including commercial, industrial, education, rail infrastructure and depots, airports, waste and energy.

Due to increased workload, they are now looking for someone at Senior Engineer/Sub Agent level looking to move into a Temporary Works Co-Ordinator role, to join the rail team to oversee projects in North/East London or West London!

IDEAL CANDIDATE

You’re the Temporary Works Co-Ordinator I’m looking for if you have experience at mid-management site level with an engineering background, ideally within rail but any form of civil engineering will be considered.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone more technically-biased to kick-start a career, and who better to work for than a thriving contractor offering the chance of career support and development?

With this role comes hard work, dedication and a lot of hours – this is not for someone looking to take a back seat or an easy ride. However, for someone who is devoted to the job and willing to put in the work, this role is incredibly rewarding and will set you up for remarkable success with the company!

ABOUT THE JOB

The company are rail construction specialists working on projects such as new depot builds, bridge structure packages, station projects and general civils. Most of their work is in the London and Anglia region, so you can expect to travel to site occasionally within this role.

The core responsibilities will include: interface with CEM’s, CRE’s and PM’s on site, looking at the programme and analyse the temporary works requirements, co-ordinate construction of temporary works and liaising with site teams, co-ordinating sub-contractors, liaising with the TW design consultancies, checking designs and issuing relevant permits – and more!

The sites are anywhere across London and the East, so there will be an element of travel, but from a site background you’d be used to this anyway!

REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for this role, you will need a HNC/HND/Degree in Civil Engineering and come from a Senior Engineer/Sub Agent level – ideally within rail, but if you have other civils experience I still want to hear from you!

PACKAGE

For the right candidate, my client is offering a basic salary up to £45k with a very generous package on top!
