This is a fantastic opportunity to work on the Crossrail project, and expand on your current telecom skills on a long term contract for a market leading company.
The Role:
The successful candidates will work on the central section of the Crossrail Project responsible for system testing across CMS, SMS, CIS, SCADA, PAVA, CCTV, OFN, CDN, Telephony and Radio Systems.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Commissioning IP CCTV Systems in Rail Environment
• SPL & STI testing
• Commissioning PAVA Systems in Rail Environment
• VMS/NVR/Camera Setup
• Drive T&C activities & Site Supervision if required

Essential requirements:
Candidates must have had some basic background in PAVA/CCTV and other Networks testing to work alongside existing skilled Engineers. You must be the kind of person that is keen to work as part of a team and learn as you go along. This will be a great opportunity to expand current telecom skills and knowledge.
PAVA/CCTV

• Experience in Commissioning PAVA and IP CCTV Systems in Rail Environment (Preferable ASL Experience)
• Experience in SPL & STI testing, testing Speaker Circuits
• Experience VMS/NVR/Camera Setup
• Rotakin Testing
• Drive T&C activities & Site Supervision if required

Networks

• Experience in Commissioning Network Systems in Rail Environment CISCO Experience essential
• Understanding of Layer 2/3 Networking
• Experience in testing TDM circuits (E1, nx64k)
• Experience in Commissioning IP CCTV Systems in Rail Environment (Preferable Verint Experience)
• Experience in working with and testing Fibre (ILM, OTDR) - using reading Power Meters and OTDR
• Experience in Testing IP & Analogue Phones
• Experience in working with Help Points (Preferable Commend Experience
• Drive T&C activities & Site Supervision if required

Desirable:

• IPAF License
• PASMA License
• Sentinel cards
