Trainee Test & Commissioning Engineer

Integrum Power Engineering Ltd is an electrical engineering contractor specialising in Power Distribution projects. We are working on a number of traction power projects around the UK and are now seeking an ambitious and motivated individual to join the team and train as a Power Distribution Test & Commissioning Engineer.

This role would suit a Qualified Supervisor electrician seeking to develop their career in the direction of testing & commissioning, or an existing test & commissioning technician seeking progress to Senior Test & Commissioning Engineer level. The role will primarily involve working as a part of a team testing & commissioning HV switchgear and associated protection and ancillary equipment.

Depending on your background you will hold one or more of the following qualifications / competences:

• NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Services, or equivalent
• HNC / HND Electrical & Electronic Engineering
• Network Rail Distribution Level B competence

PTS competence is essential.

Our work-bank is nationwide. Therefore you must be willing to regularly travel and work away from home.

We are committed to high quality training and development for our workforce. You will be supported through mentorship and formal training to develop the skills and competences required of a Test & Commissioning Engineer. You will additionally be offered the opportunity to undertake structured training and development towards gaining Network Rail Distribution Level A competence.
