Ten Live Rail seek a ‘Wagon Shop Foreperson’ for an exciting opportunity in Riyadh, KSA

Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you will be responsible for the Rolling Stock Maintenance and foreperson duties associated with our client’s Rolling stock fleet.

Overall Job Purpose:

Supervise relevant Mineral and Cargo Wagon Workshop maintenance technicians

Reports: 10

Key accountabilities

• Ensure Maintenance Schedules are fulfilled, on time.
• RAM Targets
• Ensure that Corrective Maintenance is performed.
• Down Time management
• Ensure that Procedures are followed.
• Defect Reporting
• Ensure Safety Standards are met.
• Lost time management
• Manage technicians

Job overview:

The Wagon Foreperson is the key person responsible for ensuring Wagons are provided to Ops Dept. and Wagons are the key source of revenue for our client. They are a key person responsible for minimising Maintenance costs and utilisation of tools and material.

They are key to workplace safety.

Communications and working relationships:

Internal:

Maintenance Planner; Drivers; Driver Trainer; Supply Chain Procurement; Ops Department and OCC

External:

OEM’s; Spare Parts suppliers; material suppliers

Frameworks, Boundaries and decision making authority:

Budget; Client Maintenance Procedures and original equipment’s manufacturers (OEM) Maintenance Instructions.

• Occupational Health and Safety Regulations
• Operations Processes

Qualifications, Experience and competencies:

Minimum Diploma or equivalent degree.

5 years relevant experience.

Experience with a Freight Railway will be an advantage.

Self motivated, good leader, tenacious, perfectionist
