THE COMPANY

Their UK operation is currently developing, and you can be apart of the Organisation from the very beginning. There will be start-up operations across the UK & NI including vast manufacturing facility here in the UK.

The company have secured a number of high profile orders with full life-cycle maintenance contracts to manufacture and maintain brand new trains and as a result, will look to increase their headcount to meet the demands of these contracts.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

My client is looking for Specialist welder of the highest calibre for 15 months fixed term contract, possibility of a permanent role.

The ideal candidate must be qualified with a pre-production test according to ISO 15613 or similar and must be able to travel to Spain for training for a period of 1 week - fully expensed by the client

ABOUT THE JOB

This role is within a highly safety critical environment, and therefore you will be required to pass a Drug & Alcohol medical.

You will have experience of the following:

Materials -

• AL -6000 Series – Group 23 (according to ISO TR 15608)
• Welding wire; ER 5356
• Welding gas: Argon 100%

THE REQUIREMENTS

• Welding Inspector – Desirable not Essential
• Dye penetrant Test (Level 2)
• 4mm Full Penetration
• Position PC
• Preparation HV
• Pre-production test according to ISO 15613 or similar

THE SALARY

Salary up to £37710.40 + Pension + 25 Days Holiday + BH
