Overhead linesman required for a long term work on multiple projects in Scotland to start immediately.
The OLEC 3's will be responsible for the supervision and construction of all aspects of overhead line electrification and manage the safe and efficient operations of the site. You will work extensively with bonding & cables, SPS installations, OLEC adjustments, campaign changes, running wires and OLE structure installations. Additionally you will be responsible in the Construction/Project Managers absence for signing works off if and when needed and be a leader on site to those staff under your care.
As an overhead linesman (OLEC 2), you will be required to maintain and repair overhead line systems of all voltages on tabular steel, concrete, lattice girder or wood supports. This will be a 12 week rolling contract, working 6 shifts per week.
To be considered, you must hold a valid PTS with OLEC 2/3 competencies and the relevant linesman experience.
