THE COMPANY
With a full order book throughout this year and into next, this is an excellent opportunity for an individual to take on a new challenge within the parameters of a solid contractor growing month by month providing solutions for Network Rail across Signalling, Power Supply, Telecomms, M&E and various other Electrically biased disciplines.
THE ROLE & IDEAL CANDIDATE
As an E&P Project Engineer, you will report directly into the Engineering Manager and will provide expertise on Signalling Power Supply within the Rail industry on a high-profile project based in Scotland. As such, you would need to be based in Glasgow full time such is the importance of the position and amount of hands on time you will need to give. You will have previous CRE sign off for E&P and will be able to sign off E&P Designs picking out amendments where required and ensuring the work is up to standards as defined in NR/L2/INI/02009 and NR/L2/ELP/27311. You will also participate in IDC’s and will therefore be required to liaise with CRE’s from other disciplines with the team to ensure the project runs as smoothly as possible and cross-discipline works out on site are performed efficiently and correctly. Being a JIB Approved Electrician will be highly beneficial for this work as will being a Trained Risk Assessor with full certification in Health & Safety.
THE PACKAGE AND HOW TO APPLY
The standard hours for the position are likely to be Monday to Friday during the daytime and although it is likely you may have to work the odd weekend shift, this will not be very often at all in reality.
