Location: Neville Hill, Leeds
Salary: £38,500 per annum to £56,900 per annum

About the role:
Responsible for creating a challenging, robust and detailed production plan for the district incorporating contracted workloads including heavy maintenance and modifications where applicable and acknowledging the business needs of the Northern fleet by fully complimenting all other district production plans and workloads, maintaining a strong focus on long term fleet delivery whilst improving maintenance quality, safety, and delivering on financial targets in line with agreed budgets.
Define and monitor benchmarking standards for teams within and between districts and monitor resources and facilities to enable the plan to be delivered.
About you:
To fulfil this role effectively your biggest strength will need to be a genuine commitment to leading a successful team. You will be an excellent communicator and team player who can hit targets and work effectively with colleagues and maintain safety standards.
You should also be able to demonstrate the following:

- Commitment
Experience:
- Experience of engineering and people management, with particular emphasis on rail-way vehicle engineering and depot production management.
- Engineering qualifications to HNC/HND standard essential
- NEBOSH Certificate or working towards essential
- Managerial qualifications desirable
- Experience of safety, quality and technical product audits and audit techniques.
- Must be able to demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills
