Production (Workshop) Assistant in London, London, Greater London, England, United Kingdom
Our client is looking for a Production Assistant to help keep the workshop running smoothly. You would be responsible for keeping the shop floor tidy, keeping all bins emptied and making sure materials and components are where they need to be.
Key duties
Identify components and materials
Load and move materials and components about the workshop
Operate plant such as fork lift, OH cranes and road vehicles.
Completing paperwork
Some limited stripping, cleaning and assembly work
Use of lubricants and cleaning products
Skills and Knowledge:
Ability to use systems for the purpose of stores
Use of small tools
Use of Fork lift
Ability to assist in assembly
Slings and lifting equipment
Ability to identify lubricants, components and solutions
Ability to communicate effectively
This role involves a certain amount of outdoor work and physical activity that you should be prepared to do.
