Asset Project Manager

The Company

Operating in major and minor rail projects. Projects will include station refurbishments, lift and escalator schemes, network development and expansion schemes. Conversion works, extended accessible facilities, upgrading and replacing mechanical and electrical services across the Merseyside rail network.

The Role

You will be providing a professional project management service to deliver a wide portfolio of asset management projects.

Managing project budgets on a day to day basis. Including contractor spending, accurate forecasting, reporting on cost of works and providing anticipated final accounts.

Building project briefs with detailed technical specifications for tendering and negotiation purposes.

Ensuring departmental and stakeholder procedures, regulatory and industry standards are adhered to.

Delivering projects whilst managing risks.

Ensuring Health and safety, security and sustainability policies and procedures and embedded into the process at all times. With minimum environmental and social impact.

Seeking statutory and landlord approvals ensuring compliance with contract law.

Evaluating tenders.

Working in conjunction with the sustainability team to develop energy efficient and sustainable practices.

Key Skills

Project management within asset control

Member of the RICS/CIOB or can demonstrate equivalent knowledge

Construction related degree or equivalent training and experience

A track record of safely leading project works

This role will initially be offered as an 18 month fixed term contract directly with the client, offering all the great benefits of a TOC company including:
