We currently have 2 opportunities for Assistant Project Accountancy roles within a large rail infrastructure organisation, based in their offices in Central Manchester, close to Piccadilly Station. These are contract roles, initially running for 3-4 months.
Duties will include accurately posting journals onto Oracle IT system, utilising Excel to produce period actuals and forecasts, provide accountancy support to relevant internal stakeholders and some associated administrative duties.
Successful candidate will be qualified, part qualified or actively working towards membership of a relevant accountancy body (CIMA, ACCA, AAT etc.). You will also be accurate, organised, with excellent MS Excel skills with good customer and stakeholder liaison skills. Experience in working in a similar Accountancy role would be desirable, as would experience using Oracle.
