IT Project Assistant in Poole, Dorset, United Kingdom
My client, a global leading engineering and technology services organisation, is currently looking for a well-communicative and adaptive IT Demand Executive to assist the IT and User Engagement Department in ensuring best practises during a new system roll-out. Located at their Poole Site, this is an approximate 3-month requirement.
Start Date: ASAP Duration: Approximate 3-Month Contract
What are the responsibilities:
During the temporary contract, you will have fantastic exposure to a new system roll-out and will have involvement in upgrading the tools and processes used to deliver training and support to my clients end users.
Your expected deliverables during the project:
Blueprint creation/implementation, including documentation, tools and new guidelines for required processes.
Ensure operational activities are delivered in the applicable countries and providing support when required.
Monitor system analytics, KPIs to derive improvement measures.
Participation in projects to ensure user training needs are integrated, globally.
Identify gaps in end/key user knowledge and propose training material creation and delivery.
Responsibility for training quality.
The successful candidate will have a demonstrable track record of being proactive and achieving goals with efficiency and the ability to deliver multiple tasks to tight and changing deadlines.
Experience in the following areas is required:
Strong communication skills.
The ability to work with others efficiently in international and multicultural environments.
Excellent capacity to coordinate activities to be implemented across different countries, ensure task execution and proper follow-up of them.
Strong end-user orientation
Ability to summarize and explain training and items an understandable, user-friendly manner.
Capacity to describe and document processes in guidelines and end-user materials.
Creative flair and the ability to come up with simple ideas to overcome complex issues.
Knowledge and understanding of Change Management principles and tools.
Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
Although you will be based in Poole primarily, you may be required to travel and you will need to be flexible to travel for short periods of time.
