Our rail contractor client is currently looking to bring in a Project Management Assistant/Junior Engineer on an initial 6 month contract. Based out of the office at London Euston, and onsite on LNW South (Watford - Northampton), this is a highly varied role, and would be ideal for somebody looking to take a step into a more Project Management type role.
You will be required to provide technical support to the project lead, preparing relevant paperwork such as permits and plans, interpreting site drawings, assisting with procurement and other such office based duties. On site, you will be required to represent company on site walk outs and meetings, complete setting out duties using Total Station and other site based duties.
This role is Monday-Friday predominately office based with a weekend night shift required onsite.
Successful candidate will have some experience of providing support to rail operations, with experience and knowledge of setting out and engineering support on rail projects. PTS will be required as well as good knowledge of using IT systems.
