Our client is looking for a Project Controller to join their Transport side of the business. The successful candidate will ensure that the project’s programme’s are meeting the clients and business’s objectives.

You’ll be doing:

• Planning, scheduling, progressing, co-ordinating and reporting of projects to the Project Director, Project Team and Client.

• Gathering progress data and update information from the Project Team (workstream owners), Sub-contractors and Suppliers to assess the impact on the overall programme, controlling and highlighting issues to the Project Director and/or workstream owner where necessary.

• Ensure that suitable mechanisms are in place to collect the required information.

• Providing cost control and updating and reporting the financial performance through Oracle.

• Ensuring that all elements of the project’s programme are maintained and reviewed on a regular basis within the Project Team.

• Ensuring that any change to programme is recorded.

• Ensure that suitable mechanisms are in place to collect the required information.

About you:

• Management Successful Programmes (MSP).

• Practical use of planning applications including Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project

• Practical use of Microsoft Office applications including, Word, Excel, Powerpoint.

• Articulate

• Having attention to detail

• Self Starter
