A leading Rail Engineering Main Contractor has a superb opportunity for an experience and committed P-Way Principal Project Manager to lead in the Planning through to successful delivery of varied Plain Line and S+C renewals and installations development programmes, based in the North of the UK.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Engineering Management team, you the Principal P-Way Project Manager will be responsible for managing the affective planning and engineering activities of all P-Way and related infrastructure development operations identified within the entire development programme.

Being the Principal P-Way Project Manager, you will be the strong technical lead and therefore accountable for identifying and resolving technical issues, reading and interpreting P-Way and other related Engineering drawings to be able to effectively create credible scoping plans to work towards and to be able to accept design documentations whilst assessing what Construction / Engineering techniques need to be utilised.

Requirements:

*It is envisaged that the successful P-Way Project Manager will have a strong work history in successfully and effectively planning and delivering Track / P-Way renewals, installation, enhancement and development projects.

*You the P-Way Project Manager will be adept in the reading and interpretation of Track Design Drawings and surveying. Instructing required surveys, Stressing, Tamping and Dozing requirements.

* You will be focused with regards to Track Quality, CTR Management and ensuring that the laid down systems and processes are followed and complied with.

*As an experienced P-Way Project Manager you will possess strong working abilities within Costing and commercial aspect, Planning and Change management and best resourcing utilisation skills.

*Being the P-Way Project Manager you will possess strong working appreciation and knowledge gained within NWR infrastructure (GRIP, CDM, NEC) along with strong understanding of related policies and procedures.
