Project Administrator
We are looking for a Projects Administrator to join our Assets Team at One Stratford Place on a permanent basis.
Role and Accountability:
You will provide support to the Project Controls & Compliance Manager, to ensure project governance is implemented and tracked. This includes assisting with defining and updating the project lifecycle processes and supporting the adoption of the lifecycle and its deliverables. Undertake the BREEAM responsibility where required on identified projects.
Support and facilitate communications both within the Asset Management department, and from the department to the wider business and external stakeholders (including project stakeholders, DfT and third-party contractors). When required, to assist other members of the Programme Controls team in providing administrative support to the Asset Management department.
To lead in Project Communications for the Asset Management Department by ensuring communications requirements are briefed out and to enforcing governance with the Project Lifecycle Process by making sure that all projects have a signed off Project Communications Plan and up to date Project Communications Log. Responsible for producing the monthly Asset Management newsletter and ensure the Asset Management Intranet is updated to help the development of strong relationships with all other functions within Greater Anglia.
Be responsible for facilitating the internal event planning for the Asset Management department. This includes selecting an array of activities whilst adhering to a limited budget, ensuring clear communications to both external and internal stakeholders and to be the key point of contact to ensure smooth running of the event. To use Six Sigma techniques for problem solving skills at the request of the Asset Management Director and the Head of Development and Planning.
Experience, knowledge and Qualifications Required:
Have previous experience and knowledge of the project management process. Excellent Organisational skills and IT Microsoft programmes – MS Project knowledge and experience is essential. Good knowledge of purchasing and Asset Management systems – eBIS and Atrium.
You will be a Proactive self-starter with the ability to work on own initiative and challenge when necessary, attention to detail and excellent accuracy skills are essential. As is the ability to communicate with a wide range of people at all levels, understanding Project Documentation Requirements and CDM Regulations.
Knowledge of safety regulations and Company policies and standards are desirable.
