Project Director, rail x2

The role will have full P&L accountability for a variety of smaller-scale works, ranging from framework contracts, design and build, install and maintenance works.

The current portfolio of projects is in the region of £8m - £12m.

At present, my client’s team structure is primarily that of a maintenance provider however they are turning away design and build projects as they do not have a sufficient team to deliver the work. It is their intension to recruit the Project Director who can help build a team that can capitalise on these requests which will enable their growth. They hope to reach 35% - 50% year on year growth over the next 3 years. They believe this is achievable due to their current request level.

There are 2 positions, one with a focus on Mainline Rail, and one on Underground Rail. This role will have full autonomy for its division, in terms of man management, project delivery with P&L accountability. Performance related bonus are generous.

Having a principal contractor license our client and having established relationships with key clients they are hoping to attract people who share the company’s ambitions for growth.
