We are currently recruiting for a Project Engineer to work within the LVAC (Low Voltage Alternating Current) team.

The LVAC project is a multi-disciplinary project with key emphasis on delivery of the Power/Electrical infrastructure. You will be leading on all aspects of Installation assurance, resolution of installation issues, ensuring site change is appropriately managed. Ensuring all assets are safe and reliable for in-service operation and maintenance.

The Key Accountabilities of the Project Engineer (LVAC) will be as follows:

• You will support the Project Manager to achieve programme milestones and quality, additionally provide advice and technical input to develop Project Interfaces.
• Formulate and progress Pathway engineering deliverables throughout the delivery life-cycle, specifically installation assurance deliverables - as-built drawings , O&Ms.
• Assist in the development of Engineering instruction's e.g. scope of works documents, additionally process responses to supplier queries - requests for Information.
• Manage specific Engineering issues commensurate with your qualification and experience as they arise, interfacing and instructing within the supply chain as necessary.
• Advising on 'change' proposals and formulating change assurance evidence, including managing the update of key configuration information.
• Managing the handover of new assets into maintenance.

The Skills, Knowledge and Experience expected of the Project Engineer (LVAC) will be as follows:

• Project Engineering experience - we are seeking a Project Engineer that is competent and happy working both site and desk! Specific experience in the later stages of delivery is desirable i.e. snagging, commissioning and handover.
• Ideally the Project Engineer will have minimum HNC level, alternatively extensive experience and working towards HNC.
• Experience of undertaking Electrical survey's particularly useful.
• The successful applicant will have some understanding of London Underground Limited Power and Electrical infrastructure.
